Summary of our Returns Policy

  • We will refund or exchange any item purchased on the runninghome.co.uk website as long as it is returned to us within 30 days from the day of its purchase.
  • Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, labels and tags attached.
  • There is no restocking fee.
  • We cannot accept returns on clothing that has been personalised e.g. with name printing.
  • All returns must have a completed returns form. Please download our returns form here.
  • We will credit the card that you used for making the purchase - this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

There is nothing wrong with the product, other than: I decide I dont like it; its the wrong colour; its the wrong size. Can I return it?

  • Yes you can.
  • Simply complete the Returns Form (part of your invoice material) and make sure we receive the returned goods within 30 days of its purchase date.
  • Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, labels and tags attached.
  • If there is no fault with the item then we do not offer a free returns postage service i.e. you will have to pay for the delivery of the item back to us. However, we will post any replacement goods to you free of charge.
  • If you do wish to return an item back to us then we would strongly recommend you use a recorded method of carriage. We are not responsible for items damaged, lost or delayed in transit on the way back to us.

There is a clearly a fault with the product. Can I return it?

  • Yes you can.
  • Either complete the Returns Form (part of your invoice material) stating exactly what the fault is, along with the outcome you would like (i.e. refund, replace or exchange).
  • Alternatively, write a covering note explaining clearly why the product is faulty, along with the outcome you would like (i.e. refund, replace or exchange). Please be sure to include your name, address and telephone number in your note. Include the cover note with the item you are returning.
  • If the product has been used, then for health & safety reasons please make sure you return the faulty item in a clean and dry state.
  • If you do wish to return an item back to us then we would strongly recommend you use a recorded method of carriage. We are not responsible for items damaged, lost or delayed in transit on the way back to us.

Once we have received the faulty item with the completed Faults Form/Cover note, then:

  • If you request a refund then we will make the refund by the method used to pay for the original purchase and its returns postage (please allow up to 10 working days before funds have cleared).
  • If you request for us to despatch a replacement to you then we will refund your card we have on your account (this could be up to 10 working days before funds have cleared) for the goods and postage. We will then recharge a replacement before despatching it to you.

It should be noted that for certain products we need to return them to our suppliers (e.g. if an item has prematurely failed under its manufacturer warranty agreement) - for inspection and possible repair - before any credit can be issued. This process may take more than 10 days to resolve.

Is there a timescale for returning faulty items to us?

  • In the vast majority of cases any fault with a product will appear within 2 months after purchase that is if you have used the product for its intended purpose, and have followed the manufacturers recommended cleaning instructions. So for this reason you may return any faulty item to us 2 months after the date of purchase.
  • This product would then be inspected for any faults of manufacture, and then either:
    • Returned to the customer if deemed accidental damage/wear and tear,
    • Exchanged for new,
    • Refunded in full if inspection reveals any fault of manufacture.
  • Under exceptional circumstances as long as the product shows excessive wear & tear a product may still be defective and you can still return the item to us in order for the manufacturer to make an assessment on it. On these occasions it may take longer for the evaluation process to be completed before the manufacturer approval or intervention is confirmed.
